Etienne Vignali has been working in the fields of urban and sustainable development for more than 10 years and is currently Project Manager for the Lyon-Confluence urban renewal project, where he is more particularly in charge of the environmental retrofitting of buildings, and the setting-up and coordination of European projects on energy transition. His daily work focuses on combining urban renewal and sustainable development by setting up relevant partnerships and collaborations with people, private companies and public authorities. In his home city Lyon, he has increased renewable energy production and energy retrofitting of buildings, and implemented data-based tools to monitor and improve the environmental performance of the Lyon-Confluence area.
