Jacob Hartmann
Senior Consultant at Sharing Copenhagen | Denmark
Jacob Hartmann gets things done! Putting citizen engagement and co-creation at the fore, he is a whirlwind of social, cultural, and sustainable transformation. As Senior Advisor at Sharing Copenhagen, part of the City of Copenhagen, Jacob funds and facilitates fun, hand-on temporary projects that create a “living, responsible city with an edge”. Projects like a floating nature shelter in the harbour and a public park created by young people on job training schemes. More than a decade of campaigning with Greenpeace has given Jacob an unorthodox approach to partnerships, bureaucracy, and development. By building relationships between sustainable businesses, entrepreneurs, and the municipality, he is shaking up Copenhagen, using art and culture to set the social and environmental agenda of tomorrow.
